Communication Convention 4&5
Our aim is to support our parents in every way we can . Key request from parents is supporting with development and understanding of British Sign Language (BSL) . The cost of courses are to prohibitive for most families to sustain, and often parents/carers see the length of courses and the accreditation a barrier to beginning to learn BSL.
Parent look for simple, everyday communication that will help them communicate with their child/children in a relaxed, friendly, helpful and supportive environment.
We have extended our Bite Size BSL Programme to include a set of Educational Seminars - looking at communication . Bite Size BSL is a fundamental support programme we aim to offer to all parents.
This programme was supported by the Welsh Church Act Fund
